United Church Women (UCW)

The mission of the United Church Women (UCW) is simple yet powerful:

To love God, to foster Christian commitment, faithfulness, and spirituality, and to promote respect and love for all God’s creation.

At Mount Royal Emmanuel, we are proud to have an active UCW group that embodies this mission in both spirit and service.

Our UCW gathers monthly for a time of worship, important updates, and friendly socializing — always with tea, treats, and lots of laughter! It’s a place where faith and friendship come together, and where women support one another in life and ministry.

Membership is open to any woman “willing to contribute her prayers, gifts, and services for the work of the church.” Whether you are new to our congregation or have been part of the United Church for years, you are warmly welcomed to join us.

In addition to our local gatherings, our UCW participates in:

  • Regional UCW Gatherings — an annual event connecting women from across Saskatchewan (with a different host city each year).
  • National UCW Gatherings — held once every five years, bringing together women from across Canada to celebrate, learn, and share in fellowship.

Through service projects, hospitality, and community-building, our UCW plays a vital role in the life of Mount Royal Emmanuel United Church — and we’d love for you to be part of it!
