Getting Involved

At Mount Royal Emmanuel United Church, we are a small church with a big heart — and there’s a place here for everyone.

We welcome people of all gifts, abilities, and interests to take part in the life of our church, whether it’s through weekly worship, monthly gatherings, or special outreach projects. Together, we serve not only our congregation, but our wider community and the world beyond.

We are deeply grateful for the many volunteers who make our ministry possible — those who serve on committees, join councils, and help ensure that our services and programs run smoothly. Check out our volunteer opportunities below!

Weekly Opportunities

Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., we gather for worship, followed by a time of fellowship and coffee.

There are many ways to get involved during our weekly services:

• Sing in the choir or offer special music
• Read Scripture during the service
• Lead our Wonder Time for children (formerly “Time for the Young and Young at Heart”)
• Serve as a greeter or usher
• Help with set-up, hospitality, and clean-up during coffee hour

Whether you’re sharing your voice, your hands, or your heart, your presence makes a difference.
